OUR STORY

MUKASWIM was created by women who have gone through a personal skin journey of their own. Born out of the need to gain a renewed confidence, this swimwear line is a small step towards helping others feel the same. 

We are a very small team based in Melbourne, Australia. While our dreams are big, we hope that these small steps of inclusion allows you to enjoy life as you should - minus any distractions. 

INSPIRATION

Many of us have battled some degree of skin issues such as ezcema, blemishes, scars and back acne. And if you're like us, we went through a series of discomfort, disconnection and insecurity - and after years of beach invitation let-downs, we created a line of swimwear that cultivates a newfound sense of confidence through a little extra coverage.

While imperfections are perfect and should be embraced, some may feel most bold by covering their not so favourite parts. Our hope for MUKASWIM is to empower women to choose their confidence, reclaim their bodies and make summers amazing again.

Whether you’re a little insecure about your bacne, scarring or other skin-related blemishes, or just want that extra coverage; our brand gives you the chance to choose your own confidence, your own way. By designing swimwear that focuses on back coverage, MUKASWIM transforms self-conscious into self-confidence with ease. Although our designs focus on your back, we also want to create space for the areas you’re happy to flaunt, which is why each piece looks and feels like a regular bikini – still cheeky and bold, but a little bit covered.
